A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, Quincy is a graduate of the historic Booker T. Washington High School. He attended Dillard University in New Orleans and earned dual degrees in Accounting and Business Management. He furthered his education at Southern University Law Center where he graduated in the top ten percent of his class in 2005, and with honors.
In addition to his academic achievements, Quincy has worked extensively to positively impact his community and inspire the young people from his hometown. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the P.O.W.E.R. Project community-based youth enrichment agency. He is also a mentor for the Operation B.L.A.S.T. Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program.
Quincy is the youngest of thirteen children and is a shining example of what can be accomplished through resilience, discipline, and perseverance. He is a partner in Doran & Cawthorne, P.L.L.C., and focuses his practice on trial and appellate litigation.
